Love this hall pass...

I came across this picture recently and just about fell off my chair laughing because it is so true.  I wish that I could have a hall pass just like this.  It is amazing that students do not think there is anything "important" happening in my class so therefore they will not be missing anything.

My "favorite" (just kidding) questions students ask when they are getting ready to leave on vacation or have been absent from my class...
"Are we doing anything important?"  "Did we do anything important when I was gone?"


I just ran across this great teacher blog where she did make a hall pass similar to this comic.  Love this idea!

Welcome to my virtual classroom.  I have taught in a special education resource room, in the high school setting teaching math for 7 years.  Although I am still a teacher, I no longer have a traditional classroom.  I have taken on the role of mentoring all new secondary resource teachers for my school district.  I am always trying to find new ideas that can help teachers share the great ideas that I see in classrooms.  I have created this place to keep track, post and share all of the ideas that I find.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you find something that you can use.
